Follow-up Talk on IT Security

How to Tread carefully in a Connected World, Part 2. On June 7th we again had the pleasure of getting good, practical advice from “our” IT expert, Charles Douthwaite.
This time he emphasized how important it is to have good passwords! Of course, not using names and birthdays and using different passwords for each account. Here are some interesting examples:  thatwasmyW4teringCAN, or mrsbrownhadaveryLARGE4HEAD!. Now the question: who can remember such complicated passwords? Write them down, make a list, but keep it carefully hidden. It was an informative, amusing afternoon. Club members are fortunate to have become acquainted with Mr. Douthwaite, and to know that we can easily get in touch with him (he lives in Cologne) for help with computer problems.
