What a delightful afternoon! This YEP was completely different! It was
held at the Alte Feuerwache, not in a traditional cafe, so the
atmosphere was casual, sitting outside, perfect weather, before the heat
wave hit us. The cook of the Alte Feuerwache baked us a special
strawberry cake which was delicious. and of course there was a glass of
prosecco to toast in the summer. Valerie, whose 90th birthday was just around the corner, even got a happy birthday chorus from us.
We hope this will become a new tradition. 21 ladies attended.
