At our IN-meeting on February 1st Charles Douthwaite, an IT expert resident in Cologne, gave us a talk on Security on the Internet. 14 members attended.
His presentation, which was well illustrated, was professional, fun and totally understandable to non-professionals. It was clearly tailored to our group, dealing with the issues relevant to us all on a daily basis and answered a lot of outstanding questions many of our members had.
He gave us several practical tips both for individual members and for our Club web page. These latter Barbara was able to implement quickly and easily.
We are delighted to confirm that he will give us a further talk on June 7th when he will also answer members’ questions. In the meantime, he may be contacted professionally by members who have specific problems/questions re internet security.
