After the summer break (which included 4 informal lunches), we were all looking forward to seeing each other and hearing about the plans for  the new Cosmo year. Ina read the minutes of the last AGM, exactly one year before. Then Liesel gave the treasurer’s report. Nancy then gave the social report, which showed us how active our year had been. Before we discussed the charity for the coming year, the old committee agreed to continue as a committee, along with Barbara as our chairperson. After a brief discussion, it was agreed that our charity will be Sen(i)ora, another project of the SKF. Helpers actively go out into the community searching for senior women in need, who have difficulty looking after themselves, or even sleeping rough. Donations can be made at any IN meeting and of course at the Advent tea and Christmas lunch. After the business was taken care of, we all had time to catch up and enjoy coffee tea and cake. 25 ladies attended , which I venture to say has set a record. Let the Cosmo year 25/26 begin.
