The Egyptian Museum (Ägyptisches Museum Bonn) in the University Bonn is very small but well-worth a visit. We had an English guided tour by a student of Egyptology, who gave us interesting insight into the ancient Egyptians’ customs and ideas about life after death. That was the current exhibit, but since the museum will be moved to a more spacious area within the university, it’s a good idea to check their website www.aegyptisches-museum.uni-bonn.de before going there.
