This was certainly a special OUT-meeting, behind the scenes in The Philharmonie, Cologne’s one, and only, concert hall. Whereas most of us have been to concerts in this amazing  concert hall, we were treated on this tour to some insider views, were even allowed to peek onto the stage where workers were setting up for the next rehearsal. Our guide gave us insights into the history of the Philharmonie, and of course, some of the problems connected with the construction: on the one side , Cologne’s underground, on the other side, the Rhine river.       After the tour, we went to one of our favorite restaurants in the Altstadt, the Lebanese ‘Beirut’. This was our last meeting before Easter break, and we realized how fast our COSMO year is coming to an end. When we get together again in May, it’s only 6 weeks till our Year-End party in June.
