Our Cosmo year 23/24 got off to a flying start! 21 ladies attended. Dee had to take over, since Barbara was in bed with a terrible cold, which goes to show how important deputy positions are (hint, hint!). In fact , the committee urges any and all members to volunteer for the various positions. Committee meetings are few and far between, so it isn’t such a burden. The treasurer’s report was then read, giving us a positve feeling. The members will be invited to our 75th anniversary celebration on Nov 29th at the Hyatt Regency. The social report included 16 meetings this year, a complete year at last after the Covid year. Nancy urged us to check out our website regularly where more detailed reports can be found. The old committee became the new committee.

We were glad to get back into the Cosmo swing of things again, as it had been a long summer break. Oh, but we did have 3 summer lunches, including one in Bonn. Such a nice tradition which we will continue. With coffee and cake we were able to catch up with each other, a nice, relaxed atmosphere.
