On 6th February 2019 we welcomed Tom Owen, Solo Oboist with the Gürzenich Orchestra, to give us a talk about “Tom and his Oboe”

We were able to enjoy a wonderful afternoon with interesting information both about Tom and his life as an oboist and also about the instrument itself. Besides we were given some lovely examples of oboe tunes. The 21 ladies attending thouroughly enjoyed the afternoon and could have listened to Tom for a lot longer.
